CGNS error

Using Basement Version 2.6 for 2-D Modelling with Sediment transport (1 Mixture, 1 Soil, smartjaeggi_multi)

I get the following error:
A fatal error occurred: CGNS ERROR: could not find 'DataArray_t' 1 node error: goto path not found. We are sorry, but BASEMENT must be terminated now.

This error prevents my simulation from proceeding at 25% progress since basement collapses. I do not have any clue what this error means and how to avoid it. May someone explain?

Many thanks

Re: CGNS error

Hi sebastiana,

There seems to be a problem during your simulation when Basement writes the CGNS file (used for restart).
In your mixture do you have more than 1 grain class defined?

Re: CGNS error

I am not able to reproduce this error using smartjaeggi_multi.

Do you have a small or a large restart_time_step?
Could you please try another transport formula, e.g. mpm_multi, parker, or wu?
If then the problem still remains, you could provide us the input files for debugging.

Best regards
Lukas
