Error Message_Setup Basement Command file

Hi everyone

In Basement software v2.6, while executing the File Open Command (or Ctrl+O) and open the ’run.bmc’ command file. The Input Structure in the left window is not showing any entries.The raw input file is appearing and showing the following error,

Parse error near line 94:
Tag named 'output_time_step' is not defined within block 'OUTPUT'. Valid tag names are 'console_time_step', 'restart_time_step', 'reference_time'

Please let me know how to solve the issue.

check your input structure as the model indicating that "output-time_step" is not defined . you need to define it.

Dear users,

the tag "output_time_step" inside the "OUTPUT" block has been deleted for the 2D modul BASEplane with the last release of version 2.6. This tag is only of use for the 1D modul BASEchain as it defines the timestep results are written to the main output file "region_name_out.txt".

Note that the "output_time_step" is still mandatory in the "SPECIAL_OUTPUT" block!

Generally, in case the block structure has been change in the scope of a new release, you need to update your command files (*.bmc). For the problem mentioned above by V.Pavithra, just edit your *.bmc file with a text editor (e.g. notepad++) and delete the line "output_time_step = xxx". Alternatively you can use the BASEMENT raw editor to fix such issues.

Dear sir

Thank you for the valuable reply. While I delete the line "output_time_step = xxx" using Basement raw editor, I get the following errors

Logical errors / warnings:
Input file has 0 warnings and 3 errors:
*ERROR: Block SPECIAL_OUTPUT has 1 error:
Tag 'output_time_step' is mandatory but missing.
*ERROR: Block SPECIAL_OUTPUT has 1 error:
Tag 'output_time_step' is mandatory but missing.
*ERROR: Block SPECIAL_OUTPUT has 1 error:
Tag 'output_time_step' is mandatory but missing.

Please help to solve the issue.
