What's the 'friction' meaning in the output block?

Hi, everyone,
I would like to know the exact meaning of 'friction' in the output block and how it is calculated. Any help is appreciated.
Best wishes.

Re: What's the 'friction' meaning in the output block?

Dear Wei

The friction output is given as dimensionless Chézy coefficient Cf = C/sqrt(g), where C is the Chécy friction value and g is gravity.
For conversion between different roughness factors please have a look at the Reference Manual R I - 1.1-6.

Hope this helps
cheers, Lukas
