Non-erodible areas

Hello,
I am building a model of a river with sediment transport and, amongst other things, I need to model the presence of a revetted area along the river (there are huge boulders embedded in concrete). I need to simulate the behaviour of the flow where the revetment is, therefore I need the area to be non-erodible. How do I get such a behaviour without risking the model to become unstable?

Hi Jules,

You can do this by implementing a fixed bed. Have a look at Section 1.2.2.7 Bed Material and Fixed Bed Concept of the BASEHPC Reference Manual.
