Transport capacity

Dear Basement community,

I'd like to understand the meaning of thid statement about "capacity transport" in GUI help: [...]
It is also possible to specify a time series with the inflowing sediment volume [m3/s], which then is distributed on the grain fractions according to the calculated transport capacities [...].
Time series stands for "sedimentograph"? in such a case if I insert "file" item, a warning inform me that it will not be used!
Please, someone could explain me how can I add sediment from upward watershed basin into my domain other that "sediment discharge" (giving big problems)?
