Ripple-Factor / Reduced Shear-Stress for Bedload

Hello everyone,

We are currently working on the simulation of sediment transport in a river section.

In the older versions of Basement (MD), it was possible to reduce the effective shear stress for bedload transport compared to the total shear stress using a ripple factor.

Is this also possible in version 4.0.2 HPC and has it only been renamed or is an implementation planned again?

Hi,

This feature is still available for BASEMD  in version 4.0.2, but is currently not implemented for BASEHPC.

Note that version 4.0.2 allows to run both BASEMD and BASEHPC simulations.
