hi,
I work with QGIS 3.10.0 and Basemesh 1.4.5. After asking for Quality meshing, I had received the following answer :
1) Meshing via Triangle failed! Node result file not found.
2) could not open the file C:/Users/Admin/AppData/Roaming/QGIS/QGIS3/profiles/default\python/plugins/BASEmesh\triangle_tempfiles\Project1_Quality.1.node!
And te status message is :

Hi,
this sometimes happens to me when I do not snap lines properly.
Try and check where more than 2 lines are snapped together, especially if you have stringdefs and breaklines snapped together.
Furthermore, I strongly suggest you to update QGIS to its latest version!
Best
