Sediment transport with downstream boundary condition weir

Hi

I need to have a downstream boundary that functions hydraulically as a weir (backwater effect), but in terms of sediment transport the sediment can pass through. If I set the hydraulic downstream boundary conditions as 'weir', does it mean the sediment cannot leave the system? If so, how can I solve this so that it does? While still keeping the backwater effect?

Thanks

Re: Sediment transport with downstream boundary condition weir

Hi Alyssa

Just apply the sediment boundary condition 'IODown' (the only downstream boundary condition available). This should work on the model side.

Best, Lukas
