Hello,
I would like to simulate sediment transport in a river.
If I use the equilibrium_out boundary for sediment, I have to set a reference bed elevation. However my outflow boundary doesn't have the same bed elevation at every nodestring. My results change a lot if I set the minimal bed elevation or the mean bed elevation of the outflow boundary.
Why do we have to set a reference bed elevation (in the version 2.8, it wasn't neccesary) ?
Could the reference bed elevation be linked the elevation of the outflow nodestring ?

Dear Déborah
Version 3.x is still in development and does not (yet) provide the same functionality as version 2.8. The current implementation with a fixed reference elevation over the whole nodestring is simple and fast. We will consider upgrading the equilibrium_out boundary condition in a future release.
Best regards
Matthias
