Hello,
I'm working on Basement 3.0(only hydraulics). I export the results in xdmf file (bottom_elevation, water_depth, water_surface, flow_velocity and ns_hyd_discharge ). In paraview 5.7.0, I can see the results as Layout very well. The problem is that paraview can not export the complete results in a SpreadShetView (Attribute: Cell data). Only the results from bottom_elevation, water_depth, water_surface without flow_velocity and ns_hyd_discharge are correct. The simulate results with flow_velocity and ns_hyd_discharge are failed with the output messages:

Do you know why?
Thank you for your help

Hi Klaus
This error only seems to occur with Paraview Version 5.7.0. With the versions Paraview 5.4 or 5.6 it works fine. I suggest to use an older version until we fix this,
Best regards

Dear BASEMENT users and developers
I am here to report the following behavior with BASEMENT 3.0 xdmf results in ParaView 5.8:
ParaView 5.8 has 3 xdmf readers, with the first one (XDMF reader) I am able to open BASEMENT results, but the graphic of the softwer gets twisted. With the other two (Xdmf readerS and Xdmf readerT) ParaView loads the results but if I try to visualize them, it crashes.
I solved this by downgrading to ParaView 5.6 and selecting the first xdmf reader (XDMF reader) when prompted to.
I hope this could help some other users
Cheers
Matteo

Hi Matthias,
ParaView 5.6 is still working only withm the XDMF reader. Maybe updating ParaView is helping?
Might it be a problem with the paths as it is for QGIS?
Cheers,
Matteo
