Hi everybody,
I have read all the manual but I haven't seen any answer to my question. It seems to be logic but ...
If I have a XS (for example trapezoidal cross section) and we assume that I have defined a bottom with a certain soil. If my main channel is all my cross section (from first point to last point) and also for the water flow and the active part, does it mean that it is assume that on the left and the right of my first and last point, it's assumed that's a wall for water level higher that the first and last point?
I'v attached my example.

In orange it's the fictive wall. Thank you for your help,
Cheers,

Yes, your sketch is correct. Generally, points of the cross sections that lie outside of the active range are ignored and the active range acts like a "wall".
