matlab

Can the simulations done in BASEMENT be imported to MATLAB? As in after the model has simulated a given natural occurence such as a dam break , can the results be exported to MATLAB in order to simulate them inside MATLAB itself?

Re: matlab

Hi stonegaze,

if you are running 1D simulations with BASECHAIN you can save your ouput in matlab format and visualize them inside matlab. To know the file structure, please refer to what is written in the manual or at this link: http://www.basement.ethz.ch/docs/doc_BA … ck_2.4.5.1

If you are running 2D simulations with BASEPLANE you can save your output as an .ascii file and then open it and visualize it with matlab.

Hope this helps!

Bests,

Matteo
