Re: Crayfish plugin crashes QGIS Brighton?

There are at least two important issues you need to take care of, as I have outlined also in the previous answer to the user Reyhaneh:

- meshes used for visualization in Crayfish always need to be 'renumbered' with our BASEmesh plugin. There must be no gaps in the numbering of the nodes and elements, otherwise Crayfish may crash (we hope to change this in future).
- use the 'qgis' output format (BASEMENT v2.4) for data visualization with Crayfish.

Holding these issues in mind, the visualization should work. If the problem persits, then do not hesitate to inform us and you may also inform the Crayfish-Devrlopers, who maintain this very useful plugin.

Best regards and a happy new year!

Re: Crayfish plugin crashes QGIS Brighton?

This issue should be resolved in the source code now:
https://github.com/lutraconsulting/qgis-crayfish-plugin

Could you compile, test and report back on the plugin github repo, so we can take action if needed.

Thanks,
Saber
