External Source - Bed load function

Hi

I am adding a couple of external sediment sources to my model and I would like to use the type bed_load_function. To which Q does this bed_load_function correspond to? The description says "a bed load function according to the water discharge of an external hydraulic source can be defined". I am wondering how the program relates the Q/Qb fileinput to the discharge that this external source has. Is it related via the cross_section? Or should the Q/Qb fileinput relate directly to the main flow in the river?

Best regards
Matthias

Re: External Source - Bed load function

Hi Matthias

the Q of the bed_load_function relates to the Q of a hydraulic external source of the same cross section. You need to define a hydraulic external source for this cross section and its Q will be used. If no hydraulic external source is found, the program will show an error message.

Regards!
