Paraview display water surface elevation with water depth colouring
Hi everyone,
I'm running basement with water surface elevation as additional output turned on. Regarding the visualization of my results, my goal is to display the water surface elevation, but with the colouring of water depth. Is this possible with Paraview and if yes, what would be the steps to follow? If not, is there any other visualization software you could recommend that enables this?

Yes it is possible, the coloring options (toolbar, but also in the properties window) are independent from the underlying dataset, i.e. you can set a fix color or recolor according to different variable.
