Good Morning
I try to simulate a 2D sediment transport model for my river with an average slope of 3%.
At the first I simulated the unsteady hydraulic model and it runned well as I expected.
Then I tryied to coupled the Morphology Block.
I've set as initial condition the restart file from a pure hydraulic simulation with a constant discharge and then I inserted my real hydrograph.
I simulated only single grain diameter of sediment but at the end of the simulation the deltaz generated an unreal deposition at the inlet BC like a pyramid with over 50 m of altitude.
Here is what I choose:
-BC upstream: hydrograph discharge
-BC downstream: hq relation
-single grain transport equation: mpm
-class diameters: single grain 100 mm
-BC upstream: transport capacity
-BC downstream: IOdown
-No Gravitational Block
So the simulation generated the deposition and the erosion areas in all the model but locally there are some cell with a deltaz unreal (more 50 m of deposition), in particular in the first few cells.
How can I solve this problem?
Thanks

Hi Lorenzo,
I strongly suggest you to look in the forum before posting new issues.
The problem you are facing has already been discussed by other users:
I had the same exact problem as you have and both approaches proposed in this topic solved it
A solution similar to mine (see item n. 1 in this list)
I hope this helps!
