Model Boundary for Mesh Generation.

Hi Users
I have Created a model boundary based on structure elevation data (DTM) using Convex Hull. The resultant model boundary (rectangular) has 4 corner vertices (nodes) lying on elevation points, remaining elevation points on periphery does not have any model boundary vertices (nodes).
So it is ok to generate elevation mesh with model boundary (rectangular) having only 4 vertices, or should add nodes to the boundary.

Thanks

Re: Model Boundary for Mesh Generation.

Hi
if you are ok with your boundary and you do not need it to be more detailed, then you are safe to go.
The shape of the boundary usually depends on the domain you are studying.
Cheers
