Basement 2.8 - BASEviz window freezes

The BASEviz window will stop responding - freeze - during simulations.

When I start a simulation the BASEviz window pops up, and after pressing "p" the the simulation starts and the graphics in the window continuously updates (e.g. velocity / depth etc.) and the timer runs.

However, after a while the window freezes. The timer stops running even if the simulation continues. The graphics does not update. It is no longer possible to toggle between different variables (velocity / depth etc.)

The window is not completely frozen. It is usually possible to pan and zoom and toggle the help text.

Hi marulke,

do you have any warning/errors in the GUI? The behaviour you describe might be due to problems in the simulation.
