New version 2.8

Dear Users of BASEMENT,

We are happy to release the new version 2.8 of the software BASEMENT. This versions contain some enhancements concerning functionality and documentation. For BASEMENT, please refer to the documentation, part “Introduction and Installation”, section “Release Notes” for further details about new features and bug fixes.

The newest versions of the software system BASEMENT and the QGis plug-in BASEmesh are available as free download on our website http://www.basement.ethz.ch. (Notice: If your web browser still displays the old version, please reload the page to update its contents.)

Hi,
thanks for the new release.

When I try to install ubuntu_18 version (GUI and Cluster) I get

    # Do you accept the license agreement? If so, enter "accept": accept

    # checking for package tool..
     /usr/bin/unzip

    # contents of package:
     unzip:  cannot find or open .zip, .zip.zip or .zip.ZIP.

    # ERROR : corrupt package. please download again.

The ubuntu 16 package works.
