Gate and weir boundary
Dear sir,
I want to ask a question out of curiosity. What is the difference b/w a weir and a gate bc? Are not they the same? In both we define the crest level. In case of a gate we open it and create a pathway for the fluid (an orifice) but the same cannot be created in Basement. Regards
