Hello!
If I activate the tag "create new layers", I get the message "Layer erased" right after I started the calculation and finally "The Program has to be closed".
The layer thikness is 3 m, it can´t erase that quikly.
Are there spezial requirements for this tag?
Can I use "create new layers" if I have reaches with fixed soil (to allow deposition but avoid erosion)?
Thank You again!

Hi Alice,
I suppose that the "Layer erased" message is not related to your 3m-thick layer. Probably, a new Layer is created, which is deleted immediately afterwards. The program should not be closed due to the deletion of sediment layers...this seems to be a bug. Is it possible to send us your model data, so that we can debug the error?
Yes, you can use the "create new layers" flag with fixed soils. However, be aware, that in most scenarios you will not need to create new layers. This is a very special feature (not used very often), which may be needed to simulate formations of bed armours or if you have very different sized sediment grains over the time...
Best regards
