SedRestart.dat

I want to calculate the Sediment Transport over several years.

To keep the calculation time short, I would like to calculate one year after another.

For the geoemtry I can enter the topo_restart.dat file in the GEOMETRY-block.

Where can I enter the SedRestart.dat file to continue the developement of the soil mixture?
I couldn´t find this topic in the Manual...

Thank you for your help,
Alice

Dear Alice,

you can enter the sediment restart file in the PARAMETER-block of the MORPHOLOGY-section as follows:

...
MORHPOLOGY
{
    PARAMETER
    {
         restart_file = ....
    }
}
...

(In future, we plan to add a new INITIAL-block for the morphology-section, as it is handled in BASEplane at the moment.)

Best regards,
Christian
